1. M/s. Monalisa Films, Mumbai V/s M/s. STV Megastar Studios/USL-WOA Mumbai. Breach of contract dated 20th July, 2001 in respect of Picture “HUM PANCHHI EK DAAL KE”.
M/s. Monalisa Films, Mumbai Producers of Picture “HUM PANCHHI EK DAAL KE” have informed the AMPTPP that they have entered into an agreement with M/s. STV Enterprises, Mumbai on 20th July, 2001 to execute the visual special effects and Post Production work for promo purposes such as theatrical trailor promo for TV of their above film. On 1st May, 2002 the said M/s. STV Enterprises have informed them that they should in future deal with M/s. Mega Star Studios regarding their job contract. Since then the Producers have been dealing with Megastar Studios. However, despite paying the full payment, the said Megastar Studios have not completed the contracted work. At the request of the producers though the AMPTPP has sent letters to STV/Megastar Studios requesting them to settle this issue, they have refused even to accept the letters. When the Producers subsequently came to know that STV/Megastar Studio is now M/s. STV Enterprises under the control of USL-WOA, Mumbai the producers have sent a letter to the said M/s. USL-WOA requesting them to settle this issue and requested the AMPTPP to intervene in the matter and in turn, the AMPTPP has also sent a letter to M/s. USL-WOA enclosing a copy of letter received from the Producers and requesting them to look into the matter of 1) Nullification of the two lab letters issued by the producers to M/s. Megastar Studios amounting to Rs. 1575,000/- 2) immediate completion of their pending work and 3) to compensate a sum of Rs. 5 crores to the Producers due to delay in the completion of their film.
2. Bihar Motion Picture Association, Patna V/s M/s. Indian Movies, Mumbai
Claim against Mr. Mahendra Dhariwal in respect of Picture “BOMBAY GIRLS” Produced by M/s. Kamarindo Films, Bhopal.
In response to a letter No. 8958-EC-442/BMPA/01-02 of Bihar Motion Pictures Association, Patna, Mr. Mahendra Dhariwal Proprietor of M/s. Indian Movies, Mumbai has sent a letter to BMPA, on 28th June, 2004 again informing that he has nothing to do with the film “BOMBAY GIRLS” and the banner Kamarindo Films, Bhopal, with documentary proof and clarifying that his name shown in the Publicity was by mistake and accidental and hence requesting the BMPA to remove the ban imposed on him immediately on receipt of a copy of that letter from M/s. Indian Movies, the AMPTPP has also sent a letter to BMPA, Patna enclosing a copy of that letter and requesting them to do the needful as requested by Mr. Mahendra Dhariwal of Indian Movies.
3. M/s. Accord Equips, Mumbai V/s M/s. Aashna Arts, Mumbai Non-Payment of outstanding dues of Rs. 42,385/- in respect of Picture “KARZ –THE BURDEN OF TRUTH”.
On receipt of a complaint from M/s. Accord Equips, a member of Production Facilities Division, against M/s. Aashna Arts, Producers of Picture “KARZ-THE BURDEN OF TRUTH” for non-payment of their outstanding dues of Rs. 42,385/- the AMPTPP has sent a letter to the above Producers enclosing a copy of the above complaint and requesting them to send their comments to proceed further in the matter.
4. FWICE, Mumbai V/s M/s. Dream Spinners Production, Mumbai Claim of Shri Ashok Patwardhan a member of AFVE, an affiliate of FWICE in respect of T.V. Serial “SANJHBHOOL”.
At the request of Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE), the AMPTPP has sent a letter to M/s. Dream Spinners Production, Mumbai Producers of T.V. Serial “SANJHBHOOL”, enclosing a copy of letter No. F/DS/304/2004 dated 3rd July, 2004 received from FWICE addressed to them, requesting to send a cheque of Rs. 2,28,800/- on account of the above member Shri Ashok Patwardhan, and requesting them to send their comments to proceed further in the matter.
5. M/s. NRI Film Production Associations Pvt. Ltd., Mysore V/s M/s. Percept Picture Co. & Telephoto Entertainment Ltd., Mumbai/ Chennai.
Infringement of copyright issues of Tamil film “NATCHATRA KAADAL” and Hindi Film “PHIR MILENGE”.
In response to the letters of M/s. Percept Picture Co., Mumbai and Telephoto Entertainment Ltd., Chennai, M/s. NRI Film Production Associates Pvt. Ltd., Mysore have sent a letter to AMPTPP informing that there is clear documentation to establish copyright to “NATCHATRA KAADAL” which pre-dates the work of “PHIR MILENGE”. They have requested to ask M/s. Percept Picture Co. to submit the original concept of Shailendra Singh and the final screenplay by Revathy before they went into Production to compare with their final screenplay that was censored in Chennai. Besides, the story/subject of both films are same. At their request, the AMPTPP has sent a letter to M/s. Percept Picture Company enclosing the Email received from NRI Film Production Associates Pvt. Ltd. and requesting them to send their comments to proceed further in the matter. In reply, M/s. Percept Picture Company have sent a letter to AMPTPP informing that they have take up this matter with M/s. Telephoto Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Chennai for their comments and further requesting the AMPTPP to request M/s. NRI Film Production Associates Pvt. Ltd., to send letter duly signed by them instead of sending E-Mail and accordingly the AMPTPP has sent a copy of that letter to M/s. NRI Film Production Associates to do the needful in the matter.
6. M/s. B.R. Films, Mumbai V/s M/s. Shree Bheru Enterprises, Chennai
For not fulfilling their obligations as per the Agreement dt. 9th Sept., 2003 in respect of Film “BAGHBAN” for Tamil Nadu and Kerala territories.
M/s. B.R. Films, Mumbai the Producers of Picture “BAGHBAN” have sent a final notice to Mr. Vimal Chand Jain of M/s. Shree Bheru Enterprises, Chennai the Tamil Nadu and Kerala circuit distributors requesting them to furnish the Business Statements with relevant other documents as per clause No. 14 of the agreement dated 9th September, 2003 in respect of their above Picture immediately failing which suitable action will be taken against them and sent a copy of that letter to AMPTPP to intervene in the matter and in turn the AMPTPP has sent a letter to that distributors enclosing a copy of letter received from the Producers and requesting them to do the needful immediately and also sent a copy of that letter to their Association requesting them to direct their member to do the needful, in the matter.
7. M/s. Right Publicity, Mumbai V/s M/s. White Feather Films Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai, Picture “MUSAFIR”.
Mr. Dale Bhagwagar, of M/s. Right Publicity has sent a letter to AMPTPP stating that as per the advice of AMPTPP, he has tried to contact the Producers M/s. White Feather Films Pvt. Ltd., to settle his dispute in regard to non-receipt of his legitimate dues for the services rendered to them in respect of their Picture “MUSAFIR” but they have failed and neglected to settle this matter for one reason or other best known to them and again requested the AMPTPP to intervene in the matter and in turn the AMPTPP has sent a letter to M/s. White Feather Films Pvt. Ltd., enclosing a copy of letter of Right Publicity and requesting them to send their comments to proceed further in the matter.
In response to that letter M/s. White Feather Films Pvt. Ltd., have sent a letter to AMPTPP informing that in view of the statement of Mr. Dale Bhagwagar, they have left with no alternative but to referred to a court of law and Mr. Dale be asked to seek his remedy and accordingly, the AMPTPP has sent a copy of that letter to Mr. Dale Bhagwagar and requesting him to send his comments.

8. M/s. Super Film, Mumbai V/s M/s. A One Creation, Mumbai
Illegal supply of Print of Picture “KUNDAN” to another parties viz M/s. Shanti Entertainment Ltd., Mumbai and Priya Shine Star Combine Ltd., New Delhi.
As M/s. A One Creation, Mumbai have failed and neglected to send any comments in regard to breach of trust and illegal supply of print of Picture ‘KUNDAN” in violation of the agreement dated 18th June, 2003 entered into with M/s. Super Films, Mumbai, at the request of the complainant i.e. M/s. Super Films, the AMPTPP has sent a reminder to the Producers M/s. A One Creation enclosing a copy of letter received from M/s. Super Films and requesting them to send their comments immediately to proceed further in the matter.
9. M/s. H.M.P. Movies, Mumbai V/s Artiste Ms. Supriya Karnik Request of refund of signing amount of Rs. 11,000/- on account of Picture “HAYAA”.
In response to a letter of M/s. HMP Movies, Mumbai Producers of Picture “HAYAA” for refund of signing amount of Rs. 11,000/-, Ms. Supriya Karnik, Artiste has sent a letter to AMPTPP informing that she is not liable to refund the signing amount because she has not refused to work with them and had blocked dates for them besides she has no knowledge why the Producers could not proceed their picture. On receipt of that letter, the AMPTPP has sent a letter to the Producers enclosing a copy of that letter and requesting them to send their comments to proceed further in the matter.
10. M/s. Shree Krishna International, Mumbai V/s M/s. Bhawani Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Patna And M/s. Boobna Entt. Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai. For not clearing the balance amount of Rs. 12 lakhs in respect of Picture“AJAY” and “JAANWAR” for Bihar Circuit.
As M/s. Bhawani Pictures, Patna, have failed and neglected to clear the balance amount of Rs. 12 lakhs in respect of Pictures “AJAY” and “JAANWAR” to the Producers M/s. Shree Krishna International, Mumbai despite sending several reminders, the AMPTPP has sent a final notice to M/s. Bhawani Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Patna, and Boobna Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai enclosing a copy of letter received from the Producers and requesting them to clear the aforesaid amount immediately failing which suitable action will be taken at their own risk as to costs and consequences thereof, as this matter is pending for a long period.
11. M/s. MAD Films, Mumbai V/s Mr. Babu Kishan, Music Director Picture “HUM HAIN AAPKE”.
M/s. MAD Films, Mumbai, Producers of Picture “HUM HAIN AAP KE” have informed the AMPTPP that though they have engaged the service of Mr. Babu Kishan, as Music Director for their above film and paid him a sum of Rs. 52,000/- as signing amount, he is not co-operating with them for record of the song of their above film and requested the AMPTPP to intervene in the matter and in turn the AMPTPP has sent a letter to the said Mr. Babu Kishan enclosing a copy of letter received from the Producers and requesting him to send his comments to proceed further in the matter.
