What is it?
One thing is sure. You can either love him or hate him but you can’t ignore him. Himesh Reshammiya has that impact which is a rare phenomenon. So, what’s exciting in Himesh Reshammiya’s new avtaar as an actor?

Well, the flick has everything for a die-hard Himesh fans, songs, songs and songs. But as far as the plot and movie is concerned, AAP KAA SURROOR does not have the required intoxication and you don’t feel as addicted as you would have been to Himesh’s chartbuster’s. So, does Himesh acting attempt will turn out to be as rocking as its music career.

Well, let the time give a proper answer. But certainly, this man surely knows what he is up to. As far as acting goes, well there are some reservations. But to be fair, this is Himesh first attempt and there should not be any sorts of comparisons with the acting giants.

Whats it all about?
The protagonist is none other than our very own  HR-Himesh Reshammiya and wondering what’s the film about…? It revolves around HR an Indian Rock star who is in love with Riya (Hansika Motwani). Poorly established affair.  The film set in Germany has HR as an extremely popular musician / performer and how he is framed into the murder of a TV journalist. One question? A journalist comes for an interview with prior appointment but with an hidden camera?. Then, there is Mallika Sherawat who plays a lawyer and a fan. Not to forget, there’s also Music mogul played by a bald laughing Joe, who has individual agendas and scores to settle with the Rock star.

How HR manages to solve the mystery and reveal the truth forms the climax. One more question, from which zone does this three rickshaws land up on the streets of Germany?

What to look out for?
Himesh’s debut film, so the music has to be good and it is. Music is already a hit.

Himesh debut as an actor is fair, there are areas where he has to improve if he desires to be an actor. Hansika Motwani does a fine job. Mallika Sherawat is in her element in the Mehbooba number. Sachin Kedekar is competent.

What Not?
Story by Vibha Singh and narration by Prashant Chadha lacks novelty. The movie appears like Himesh’s scripted music videos which come every now and then, without any warning. Sometimes you wonder whether you are watching a flick or Himesh’s music video’s. It is poignant to see an actor of the caliber of Raj Babbar being reduced.  

Rest there is nothing to talk about this unique Himesh’s adventure.

Conclusion, Himesh factor and music have already generated curiosity amongst everyone. Masses will flock to the theaters to see their favorite singer act.

But it’s up to you, whether to enjoy Himesh’s music at home and feel intoxicated, or to hit the nearest theatre for a different experience all together.
