CHHODON NAA YAAR
THE BORING WITCH PROJECT
By Vishal Verma

Rating:- *

What is it?
A pathetic take on the 1999 horror flick ‘The Blair Witch Project’ which walked with 11 wins including the Razzie. But this is a pathetic joke in the name of horror. There is not even a single frame or shot which can be called scary.

The title and the film do not match at all. Even the most bizarre and vivid thinkers in the wildest of their dreams can relate with the title and the film. A sheer piece of crap.

What was the maker Dilip Virendra Sood trying to say? It can’t be understood by any Einstein’s or Newton’s. A tough contender for Razzie’s of 2007.

What a waste.

Could have been a real scary movie but our desi filmmakers want to indianise each and every thing and in the process they churn out such crap which will not be taken even by a kabadi (lost job after Ramsay’s stopped their ‘bhootgiri’) who collects RGV’s recent disaster’s.

Whats it all about?
When a long hair (Jimmy Sheirgill), short hair (Kabir) and medium hair(Farid), three final year students from a Delhi Mass Com College decide to make their diploma film about a myth prevalent in the northern hills of India, least did they know that the myth could well turn out to be an official entry with all pants down to the 2007 Razzie awards.

Against the wishes of his girlfriend Rashmi (Kim Sharma-why, where was she and what was she supposed to do) and college professor Saxena (Ahmed Khan), who think that the subject is too dangerous for a college project, Ravi planned the trip. And Sunny eagerly joined in perceiving it as a fun trip. But eventually it turns out to be a boring saga which is hard to understand and figure out. – ‘Cinemairritano’.

What to look out for?
Emergency exit.

Suggestion: All leading Event Co’s and Ad agencies can start making their ‘projects’ and plan their strategy for the next mega event of 2007. – The Bollywood Razzie Awards to be held at a famous horror factory to be anchored by evils and spirits of bad cinema.
