GO
GONE THERE SEEN THAT

What is it?
Rather ask this question to Mr.RGV. I really can’t figure this out. According to my knowledge some people make films for sheer passion of art and money of course, some make it for entertainment, some for recognition, fame etc. But RGV seems to be making films for records. It will not be a surprise if the record book of 2007 worst films is 75% filled with RGV and his films.

It’s really an achievement to have 3 disasters in a row within a short span of less than 2 months! Gr8 ‘Go’ing RGV.

Leaving RGV in trying different means and measures to churn out disasters, I ‘Go’ ahead. ‘Go’ has nothing to offer. First of all it doesn’t fall in any genre. It’s neither a comedy (black, white or any colour) nor a thriller, wacky, wicked, or romance etc. After watching this flick, I proudly announce a new genre tentatively titled ‘CinemaIrritano’. It means torturetainment in the name of entertainment.

‘GO’ is a striking example of each and every department falling flat.

During the 2 hrs, RGV makes the audience ‘go’ through a torture of a wayward script, sloppy editing, pitiable narration and some stand steel, loud, uninspired performance.  The only thing redeeming in this pitiable flick is Kay Kay Menon.

Whats it all about?
A story about Abhay Narula (Gautam) who loves Vasundhra Dave (Nisha Kothari- always the same whether basanti or vasu it hardly matters.). Parents are against this, cause there is a language barrier (ala ‘Ek Duje Ke Liye’ ) forget it.

So, they run away to ‘Goa’ and in the journey encounter a pathetic assistant of a chief minister who is on the run after being shot for asking ransom for recording the elimination of the CM’s Deputy by the CM himself.

The deputy CM is dead. The tape is with the PA who is being shot and a watch guard of law breakers (Kay Kay Menon.) is on the hunt for the killer, who is chasing the PA for the tape. The love birds get entangled in this crazy mayhem which also has Rajpal Yadav trying to ape MJ for a change but then comes back to his pathetic takes on Big B. Why RGV makes him to do this again and again. Well anyway its there problem.

Things get irritatingly complicated with the addition of songs as if all this was not enough according to RGV to shatter any film going species thinking cells. Or may be he was making sure that No stone is left unturned in churning out this ‘cinemairritano’.

What to look out for?
If you are not a big fan of Kay Kay Menon. Then the emergency exit gate to ‘Go’ and jump out of the theatre.

What Not?
Except Kay Kay Menon’s performance everything in this no no flick.

Suggestion: For the sake of himself and ‘Bollywood’, RGV should immediately under ‘go’ a crash course in Filmmaking.
