KRAZZY 4
OF FERALS MAKING THE URBANS GO BANANAS

What is it?
First timer Jaideep Sen’s mad mad world is not bad eh!. Yes it certifies in the genre of comedy and also takes extra care in maintaining the taste of a bollywood time pass masala stuff.
No need to appoint connoisseurs and have panel of discussions. Jaideep gets his grammar right in his first attempt in making a paisa vasool sort of stuff for the aam junta.
He chooses the idea of fallow individuals coming up against the so called cultivated or rather called it educated or civilized society & mirroring the fact.
Comedies have become regular at our nearest gazebo but normally they are senseless & filled with buffoonery. They hardly offer anything to read in between. Though Jaideep doesn’t offer much of a caramel in layers but it does come up with one line – who is the biggest sarphira’ in his ‘Krazzy 4’ thingies.
Jaideep narrates the story well and gets quality support from the gifted actors like Arshad, Rajpal, Irrfan, Menon, & Juhi.
Rakesh Roshan has left no stone unturned and with the two ace SRK & Hrithik Roshan up in the films sleeve with an added dash of the item girl Rakhi, ‘Krazzy 4’ is a safe bet even though it has a stiff competition.
What is it all about?
4 sarphiras – Raja (Arshad Wars – best of the lot & gets max. footage) anger knows no bounds,. Dr Mukherjee (Irrfan Khan- quite good as always) is obsessed with cleanness,
Gangadhar(Rajpal Yadav – enjoyable as most of the times) lives in the past...his mates are Nehru and Gandhi, Tilak and Patel!
Cute Dabboo (Suresh Menon – good) is everybody's pet. Who is always frightened and doesn’t speak.
Dr Sonali (Juhi Chawla – charming) treats them all. One day she decides to take them to a cricket match on the 15th of August and gets kidnapped. The rest of the story is how the 4 crazzy lot tries to rescue her in their own silly ways and in between come across the world which they want to join in later but in the end they give it a second thought.
What to look out for?
Ashwani Dheer and Rakesh Roshan’s pen work has the wit in its place and is well supported by Jaideep’s narration.
All the lead actors have done a commendable job. Whatever be the ‘case’ the title track is a crowd puller.
What not?
The director tries to end the story in haste and as a result everything seems hoch poch during the later stage. Much could have been done but anyway…
What were all those disorder the voice over was talking about.
Dia Mirza is wasted.
