If you want to relive the ambiance of romantic classics like Bobby and Maine Pyaar Kiya, here is a movie that follows the same trail leaving you fresh with unforgettable memories of your first love.

No Action, no violence, a sweet and simple movie that makes a difference because of it’s unfussiness. The film reflects on some of the treasured and breathtaking emotions that we all have felt when we fell in love for the first time.

The movie justifies the title well and the new comers have the correct faces to substantiate their characters. It’s a movie not just for youngsters…but for all age groups...The ones who have not fallen in love yet, would want to fall in love…ones who are heartbroken once, would want to fall in love all over again and the ones who are in love will revive their precious foremost days of love.

Like most of love stories this one doesn’t have any bad character that tries to come in between their love, rather it’s about petite issues that leads to their separation. .

After a promising debut in thriller ‘Samay’ in 2003, Robby Grewal establishes his niche as a fine storyteller and narrates the story, which has a style and flair. Robby second directional venture ‘MP3’ is a beautiful love story that captures the essence of the first love beautifully.

The story of course…
It’s an iconic present-day adolescent love story of 17 year old who have never experienced the emotion ‘Love’. A 17-year-old boy Rohan (Ruslan Mumtaz) … sluggish, a regular among bunkers in school, prankster, who has a sweet tooth, meets Ayesha(Hazel) … London return, fresher, simple and sweet girl, in his school in an uncanny situation. Eventually both of them fall in love after sequences of successive meetings.

But not everything is smooth in ‘Pehla Pehla Pyaar’. Rocky situations and petite issues bring in array of clouds. Ayesha leaves for Paris on vacation to meet her aunt with her mother. Rohan here starts missing her and like any adolescent who wants to have what he wishes takes a hasty decision to go to France. But the Problem is ticket and Visa!!!!

After full proof planning, plotting  and full ‘Jhool- Jhaal’ with help of his three friends at school and home, Rohan sets out for Paris.

While here he sets out for Paris, his father comes to know, about 40,000 rupees spent on air tickets and he reports his missing son in Indian embassy in France. What Happens next….Rohan running from Indian embassy officials to reach Eiffel tower, Ayesha running from mom and  relatives to make it to  Tower on time only to get caught in action under the tower by all the chasers.

To Look Out For….
Mummyji(Rinku Patel), Pammiji(Neelu Kohli), Tonyji(Manoj Pahwa), Sameerji (Gaurav Gera) for the humor they bring in the story….and of all The Leads. Ever green talent of Kanwaljeet Singh (Rohan’s father), Manekka Arora (Rohan’s mother) leave a lasting impression on the audience.

Ruslaan has no doubt excelled in whatever he has done. Good looking and Camera friendly, he adds in our lots of Chocolate heroes perfectly well.

Hazel has the presence but more effort is required as far as acting is concerned.

2 nd half is the part worth queuing for a ticket. Both Leads give a very fresh look onscreen.

The melodious background music by Ashutosh Pathak and Dhruv Ghanekar is catchy and it leaves you humming on your way out.

The excellent Cinematography by Amitabha Singh captures Paris in its element

Not To Look Out For ….
If you are waiting to catch a glimpse of the title song …you are just kept waited. The song that is so much heard about is nowhere to be seen in the movie.

One might find pranks kiddish but they go with the mood of the movie… ultimately it’s how you take them!

On the whole, Percept Picture Company’s ‘MP3’, in association with Red Ice Films is a fresh, cool love story.
