Technical Analysis
Yash Raj – the King of Bollywood romance who introduced our charming heroes and lovely heroines to the tulips of west, now along with Walt Disney the biggest and the most popular brand and studios which gave us the immortal characters like Mickey Mouse, & Donald Duck, and a never ending list of fun and movies write a new chapter in bollywood animation.

Bollywood’s animation is still on breast feed stage, but this contribution by YRF and Disney will definitely provide the energy, force & legs to the baby so that it walks on its own.

Tata Elxsi & VCL give bollywood its best animation, talented vocal work by Saif, Kareena, Vrajesh Hirjee, Kiku Sharda, Suresh N Menon, Tannaz Irani and of course Javed Jaffery.

Jugal Hansraj in his debut tries an animated scoop on bollywood which has its fun moments. The best being Charlie asking the cat (in disguise of Laila for a date). Content wise, this may not sound like the most remarkable premise for a movie. But the inventive folks at Tata Elxsi & VCL may just be the most dependable storytellers now working in Bollywood.

Bollywood helmer brothers can learn a thing or two about scooping humor and pithy characterizations from the script by Jugal.

Dig on a south Indian superstar in the name of Charlie is hilarious and poignant.
The Tata Elxsi & VCL animators have done a commendable job in creating a satisfying adventure than those animation (except hanuman) doing the rounds of multiplexes.

If the script could have had more gags, innovation for kids then this partnership that had already added a new chapter in bollywood’s animation, could have scripted another thumping YRF success.

The Story
It’s actually a scoop on the run of the mill love stories of bollywood with some message in the end. Romeo is a dog who was living a life of complete style. He was a complete dude. He had the works - a mansion to live in, chicks to party with and the cars to be driven around in, until one day, the family he was the favourite pet of, decided to move and left him back, abandoned on the mean streets of Mumbai.

Romeo is now faced with situations he has never been in before. He encounters four stray dogss, who scare the living daylights out of him. Soon, he smooth talks his way into their hearts and becomes friends with them.

Then, Romeo finds love! He encounters the beautiful, ravishing Laila, the most beautiful female dog he has ever seen... and he loses his heart to her at first sight!

And finally, he encounters a villain! The dreaded Don of the area - Charlie Anna! The Don who everyone is scared of.

Sp hop on to this adventure as Romeo wins friendship, love and a new life - inspite of Charlie Anna and his gang!

The movie has been smartly promoted and hits the target audience.
The franchise, branding has been smartly done.
Media promotion has also been adequate.

Business Analysis
The movie should do well in multiple screens, where the mature audience and awareness in kids will accept the scoop on bollywood. It may not be a thumping victory for Yash Raj at B.O overall, but certainly a glorifying chapter in the studios wonderful history.
