Festival Description - The Sarah Lawrence College Experimental Film and Video Festival is searching for films and videos created out of intense personal commitment, and which express the aesthetic, philosophical or political view of the filmmaker without recourse to traditional narrative conventions. These criteria also included adventurous narrative and non-narrative works, as well as experimentally minded non-fiction films. All submissions must be on VHS or DV. However, the festival encourages films created on the formats of 35mm, 16mm, and Super8 to be publicly screened in their original mediums if possible.
