ABCL’s Paa goes tax free in West Bengal

AB Corp Ltd and Reliance BIG Pictures' Paa has been declared tax-free in West Bengal with effect from 8 January, 2010.

Directed by R. Balakrishnan and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Vidya Balan, Paa has already had a one month long successful theatrical run worldwide.

The tax exemption in West Bengal will help reduce ticket prices and reach out to more people.

Till date, Paa has grossed Rs 58 crores worldwide.
