Business moguls meet at FICCI IIFA Global Business Forum

The FICCI IIFA Global Business Forum witnessed a congregation of business personalities at the IIFA Weekend. The primary objective of the FICCI IIFA Global Business Forum was to address the issue of the Global Financial Meltdown: Turning Crisis into Opportunity through enhanced cooperation between India and China.
In view of the increasing significance of India-China relationships, IIFA supports the need to explore greater synergies between the two emerging economic powers of the world.
The forum was attendance by professionals from China, Hong Kong, Macau and the Indian business fraternity.
The Forum was addressed by FICCI past president K K Modi, Indian actress and social activist Shabana Azmi, Harilela Hotels, Hong Kong director Dr. Aron Harilela and Indian Ambassador to the People's Republic of China Nirupama Rao.
Other sessions that formed a part of the day long FICCI IIFA Global Business Forum were Building Bridges: India and China through enhanced Trade and Investment Cooperation and Future of Media & Entertainment with Special Emphasis on India, China and the World. Keeping in mind, IIFA's impact on the tourism of the host country, a special session on Tourism was organized.
