The superhit jodi of Khiladi Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif is now seeting trends in bollywood. Their forthcoming film Singh is Kinng is setting benchmarks in the trade by fetching highest price for every territory in India.

The film is now releasing on 8 August and Studio 18 who bought all the rights of the film for around 65 crore last year even before the film went on floors, has begun to sell territory-wise theatrical rights of the film. According to reports, Bombay territory (excluding Mumbai city) has been sold  to Rakha Entertainment for Rs. 10 crore.

Now other territories like CP, Bengal, Punjab, C.I., have also been sold at record prices, surpassing last year’s figures of Om Shanti Om.

In CP, Singh is Kinng has been sold to Rajshri for approximately Rs. 2 crore, Bengal has been sold for Rs. 1.65 crore, Punjab and CI have been sold to Sajid Nadiadwala for Rs. 5.30 crore.
