Producer - director Vidhu Vinod Chopra's production house Vinod Chopra Films has begun work on its new film titled Farrari Ki Sawaari.

The film will be directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, who has been a longtime associate of director Rajkumar Hirani.

Farrari Ki Sawaari is a tale of how the pursuit of an Indian cricket legend's Ferrari makes a young boy's dreams of playing cricket at Lords a reality. The dialogues of the film will be penned by Hirani.

Apart from these, Vinod Chopra Films is also working on three other films namely - 3 Idiots, 64 Squares and Munnabhai Chale Amrika. The Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor starrer 3 Idiots is being directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
This will be the first time that Aamir and Kareena will be paired together. 3 Idiots also stars R Madhavan, Boman Irani and Sharman Joshi. On the other hand, the third film of Hirani's Munnabhai series called Munnabhai Chale Amrika will star Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi.

Additionally, Vinod Chopra Films also inked a co-production deal with Reliance Big Pictures for two films - Broken Horses and Taalismaan - at the Cannes Film Festival last month.

Broken Horses' screenplay is based on an original story by Chopra along with writer Abhijat Joshi (Lage Raho Munnabhai, Eklavya), consultants Jason Richman (Bangkok Dangerous, Swing Vote), and BAFTA winner and Academy Award nominated screenwriter and executive producer, Nick Pileggi (Goodfellas, Casino and American Gangster).

Taalismaan, directed by adman Ram Madhavani, is a love story inspired by the epic novel Chandrakanta. The story inter-weaves and mixes elements of magic and war. It stars Amitabh Bachchan and is heavy on special effects.

For the three films - Munnabhai Chale Amrika, 3 Idiots and Farrari Ki Sawaari, the first right of refusal lies with Reliance Big Pictures.
