BAAG" pays tribute to Begum Akhtar

BAAG (Begum Akhtar Admirer's Group) organized a Ghazal concert at ISKCON, Mumbai and paid rich tributes to the legendary singer. Well known singers like Sudha Malhotra, Ashok Khosla and Pt. Dayal Thakur performed at the concert and mesmerized the jam packed audience with the Ghazals of immortal singer.  

Past three years BAAG organizing musical event in the memory of Begum Akhtar and now the members of this Group have decided to reconstruct the tomb of Begum Akhtar which is at Lucknow and also planning to install her statue of Great singer at her birth place Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh. 

Begum Akhtar has been an ultimate source of inspirations to the current living legends in bollywood singing, to those who are remembered and of course for the wannbes….
