Cinemax, Mumbai March 15 2008: The legendary actor mysteriously kept everybody waiting ( a record 1 & ½ hr + we believe) and further adding more suspense to the story emerged from no where & unveiled the first look of his new avatar as a ‘bhooth’ in B.R Chopra’s ‘Boothnath’ directed by first timer Vivek Sharma, Produced by Ravi Chopra,   the film is an Indian Films presentation starring Amitabh Bachchan, Juhi Chawla, SRK( sp. Appearance), Satish Shah, Rajpal Yadav, & Aman Siddiqui ( the Kid).

Imagine the look ‘Bade Miyah’ dons in ‘Bhootnath’, he wears a jacket eaten by dhimaks & worms, unkept, has long nails, ruffled ( salt and pepper coloured hair). i.e.  The cut Big B is going to offer which may even scare the Gabbar of RGV (just kidding!).

But the accomplished actor seemed to have enjoyed the experience of being a bhooth & was at his humorous best when spoke to the scribes. When was asked whether he believed in bhooth, he replied in tongue –n- cheek, “ Kaun Bol Raha Hein, Aap dekhai Nahin dete”.

And when was asked whether he had seen any, he humorously said, No, But Vivek has met many of them” When was queried about the bhoot in the film, he elaborated “The bhooth is compassionate, loving and adorable though earlier he is angry”.

On working with the first time director Vivek Sharma, Mr. Bachachan complimented him by saying, “This is Vivek’s first film but after watching it, you will not believe it to be his first film”. Big B also dumped all the rumors of matters not sound with SRK, infact both of them shared a great bonding for the 2-3 days of shoot, Mr. Bachchan said, “We shared a great bond while working for the film”.

SRK plays a cameo in the film. Juhi Chawla looked elegant and shared a secret regarding her break and B.R. Films. She said that finally, she was happy to be working for B.R. Films and shared that it was B.R. Films who was suppose to give her first major break as she was finalized for the role of Draupadi in Mahabharat but at the same time she got selected for the role of Rashmi in QSQT and could not do draupadi due to commitments. But now finally she will be appearing in a B.R. banner film along with Big B with whom she has worked before in ‘Ek Rishtaa: The Bond of Love’ the film was an earning proposition.

Ravi Chopra had nothing much to say but complimented Big B by saying, “It always becomes special when Amit associates with any of our films”. Mysteriously again Big B was still not over with his mischief’s, giving a ‘jhasa’, he disappeared like a ghost leaving Juhi & Ravi for the media and shutterbugs.

Bhushan Kumar along with his wife Divya Khosla Kumar was also present to watch the ‘Bhooth’ of ‘Bhootnath’.  Priyanshu Chatterjee was spotted with a green queen.
