3rd closes by felicitating Basu Chatterjee with the Satyajit Ray Memorial Award

The closing ceremony of Third Eye Asian Film Festival took place at Plaza Theatre yesterday.

The director of the movie ‘Climate of Crime’ Mr Adoor Gopalakrishnan was amongst the chief guest at the event. Other guests included Mr. Basu Chatterjee who was felicitated by ‘Satyajeet Ray Memorial Award’.
Mr Kiran shantaram (Chairman Asian film Foundation) and Sudhir Nandgaonkar - Director of Asian Film Festival and Jury members where present at the occasion.

The ceremony was concluded with Announcement of the Competition movies and the release of the book ‘The Film Society Movement in India’ and the screening of the movie 'Climate of Crime'
