Ishqiya and Manorma – six feet under slated for Dainik Jagran Film Festival 2010

Ishqiya, the First block bluster of the year 2010, is to be screened at Dainik Jagaran Film Festival starting from 29 May’ 2010. Ishqiya is a widely acclaimed film with a brilliant star cast. Manorma – Six Feet Under directed by Navdeep Singh and Bazaar by Sagar Sarhadi too will be screened at the film festival.
 
The travelling film festival, DJFF, will be organised in 13 cities across India by Dainik Jagran. The idea behind this film festival is to take a wide range of cinema right from Bollywood to world cinema to the door steps of those admirers of cinema in different Indian cities and towns who cannot come to Metropolitan cities. DJFF will start on 29th May in Lucknow and then will travel to 13 cities before culminating in New Delhi in September 2010.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, Ishqiya is produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bhardwaj, with some mind blowing lyrics by Gulzar and music composed by Vishal Bhardwaj again. The film undoubtedly had some brilliant performances by Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi and Vidya Balan among others.
