"Road To Sangam" - Indian glory at the 62 festival de Cannes story.

First time helmer Amit Rai’s message of communal harmony & coexistence ‘Road To Sangam’ starring Om Puri and Paresh Rawal has received huge appreciation. "Road To Sangam" was screened at recently concluded Cannes film festival & the film received a standing ovation while the claps continued for long time.

Based on real life incident the film delivers a positive message of communal harmony. The film is already hotting up in the festival circuit & invitations have started pouring in from other festivals soon after the screening at Cannes. According to the director who is ecstatic at the response tells us that the film has been invited for Lucarno festival, Venice film festival, Dubai international film festival, International film festival of Goa, MAMI film festival and Chennai film festival.

‘Road To Sangam’ is an underlining example that Festival like Cannes which is though popular due to its glamour but at the same time it opens door for first time producers like Amit Chheda who take the initiative in making films like ‘Road To Sangam’ keeping an eye on the taste & need of festival audience then the result is highly rewarding.
