AND THE KING CLAPPED IN DEFEAT

Stalemate is continuing between UPDF (United Producers Distributors Forum) & the plex owners. There are no releases, critics are getting bored & in sheer frustration & habit are tearing their own hair cause they are deprived from their age old routine for no fault of theirs. Being aloof from your own sarcasms can lead to pagalpan.

Khair anyways, the ‘janta’ is not starved of entertainment. There is this generation’s old Indian passion after Bollywood in display at South Africa & the Kissa Kursi ka joke happening every hour in India.
Both are available on the buddhu baxaa urf idiot box, matlab television so on it if you like it put it on or throw the plug if you don't .

Indians are crazy after this English version of ‘Gulli Danda’, & the introduction of IPL has brought more money & oomph to this Indian passion.

Shah Rukh Khan, Priety Zinta & Shilpa Shetty are team owners. Mandiraji is also around as a reporter. Sensing that the sari look will again spell doom for her filmi career, the lass has cropped her hair and is looking like a school girl in skirt. Hmmmm. Younger the better even when it is only in the looks.

Dear Arboo has left the cozy arms of his beautiful wife Malaika Arora & is giving inputs on cricket with regulars & a cute film reviewer of a channel. Vow, that’s how this ‘game’ ‘catches’ everyone & ‘bowls’you over. King Khan looks after his Kolkata Knight Riders team in the manner a star – producer supervises his production.

He was not happy with the performance of his last film…. Oops sorry his team in the last year. So this year he took a clue from Vijay Mallya & dropped Ganguly from the captainship( Mallya dropped Dravid from the captainship). He then joined hands with the Australian hat John Buchanan for some innovations. ‘Baazigar Mein Baazigar’….. . isn't it.

They floated the multiple captain theory. In the matches played so far, Brendon MacCullum has acted as the captain. Sourav Ganguly is fighting on with wounded pride.

Preity & Shilpa have so far not produced a film, so obviously they know nothing about production & team work that is involved while making a film. They are doing what they are best at – being heroines on the field & for their team.

Priety actively encourages the boys waving the banner & hugging them after the matches. Shilpa has taken the name of her team more seriously & like the malkin of Rajasthan Royals, she like a true aristocrat smiles for the team & the audience making sure that she is away from displaying any emotions in public.

King Khan is a picture of concentration, watching the proceedings on the field with hawk eyes and calming the anxiety with tobacco sticks. SRK – Buchanan coup has so far not proved to be effective. Knight Riders put on a poor show in the first match. Luck favoured, & they won the second by Duckworth – Lewis method. The SRK – Priety clash was a big disappointment. SRK smiled at the outcome whereas priety & many others where not much thrilled. Anyways, a win is a win.

But it was the Shipa – SRK clash that was a perfect combination of cricket & bollywood drama. It provided the much needed melodrama to the audience. The climax was nothing less then a paisa vasool bolllywod blockbuster.

In movies, Priety & Shilpa made their debuts as queens of King Khan. In ‘Bazigaar’, King killed the queen. In IPL show, the queen took a sweet revenge and laughed.

King sportingly clapped in defeat and murmured one of his most widely quoted lines from one of his blockbuster “ Har Ke Jitne Wale Ko Hi Bazigaar Kehte Hai”. The Tamasha is on….. Despite Buchanan and MacCullam, we hope the King will clap in victory.
