We were very intrigued to know, what happens to the team, who has worked in a film named, Shortkut the con is on… have they ever taken a shortcut in life, and what has been an experience, lessons learnt.
Akshay Khanna - I remember taking a shortcut while I was in college… and that landed me in a big mess. In fact post that I have not taken any shortcuts at all… I had my French exam in college and I was not prepared for it at all and knew that I’ll fail for sure so I decided to skip the exam. When my parents came to know about this shortcut of mine…they sent me to a boarding school, which was no less than hell for me.
Arshad Warsi - I gave up my studies quite early and straight away started working… I thought why to waste so many years studying when you can start earning at an early age. But no that doesn’t mean people should not study…. I now realize the value of formalized education. It always adds if you have a good degree I guess. One more stupid thought that I had was that I never wanted to work under somebody. I wanted to start a job with being the boss in the office which is why I never worked under someone and started my own thing…
Amrita Rao - Yes I tried cheating in a painting competition but got caught in school... from then on I have learnt that the only way to success is through hard work…
Chunky Panday - I tried taking shortcut once and the result was not very good… I was supposed to do a show in Germany… I was running a bit late so I asked the guy who came to pick me up to drive fast. The guy was an Arab, he said that he’ll take me through a shortcut to reach early…I took that shortcut and we lost our way. I reached 20 minutes after the show was over. Obviously I didn’t get paid for the show at all. So much for trying to take a shortcut…
Neeraj Vora - I have taken a shortcut in life, which left a bad taste in my mouth forever... I wanted to become a producer much earlier on in my career and that too quickly, so I took a shortcut and produced a film called Familywala… and predictably when your try and take a shortcut, the film never got released and I failed as a producer with my first step itself…
