Excerpts
IMP. Another comedy, what’s the difference?
TK: Nayee Padosan falls in the genre of situational comedy. Ikram Akhtar, has done the story and screenplay, keeping in mind today’s youth and their likes and dislikes.
This is a story of two innocent & mischievous boys from a rich family, having no tension in their lives but all of a sudden, there is a twist in their life, where they are forced to get married to middle aged girls, resulting in comic situations one after the another.
IMP. It is quite remarkable to complete a film in 22 days, tell us did you face any tantrums in the process?
TK: No, not at all, every body where so supportive and punctual, be it a 9.00 a.m. shoot or any matter. Everybody would be present and I would say that it was a very good experience working with all my artistes, very much like a family.
IMP: What next in pipeline?
TK: I have just completed Friday Picture’s ‘Rafoo Chakkar- fun on the run. And there’s also Shravan Kumar’s ‘ Kash Mere Hote on the floors.
IMP. What will be the catch line, which will drive the audience to theaters screening “Rafoo Chakkar - - fun on the run.”?
TK: Watch this, A sure shot prescription for laughter.
