July 05 2008, Mumbai: He came in whites playing a saxophone in August 25 of 1977 & the suave ladies charmer of the 70’s Rishi Kapoor made the female population fall head over heels one after the another, when he sang the evergreen RD Burman’s mix of jazz & soft rock – ‘ Bachna Ae Haseeno’ on screen in ‘Hum Kisise Kum Naheen’.
The evergreen classic brought the entire nation boogie woogie to the zingy tune which still after 31 years takes you back to the swinging 70’s.
Its 2008 and now it’s the turn of the generation next – Ranbir Kapoor to make the ladies beware.

The hunk whose list of female admirers goes on increasing day by day has finally decided to hunt for his match in Yash Raj Films ‘ Bachna Ae Haseeno’ were he will be seen trying his luck and charm on Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu & Minissha Lamba.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ will again see the hit pair of music directors Vishal & Shekar trying to repeat the success of ‘Salam Nameste’.
The music of ‘‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ was released in YRF studios today in the presence of the Director Siddharth and Music Directors Vishal & Shekhar.
Songs along with the stills were played before the media which promised to be young at heart having today’s zing thing but at the same times it also made an attempt in paying homage to classic sounds of the swinging 70’s.
The album which has 7 numbers in all in the voice of KK, Shipa Rao, Sunidhi Chauhan, Hard Kaur, Raja Hassan, Lucky Ali, Shreya Ghoshal, Sukwinder Singh, Shekhar Ravjiani, Himani Kapoor, & Shankar Mahadevan with remix by Abhijit Nalani.
The album is a mix of soft rock, hip-hop, bhangra, and of course the ever rousing Kishore Kumar classic ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ with the modern day zing in Kishore Da’s original voice but supplemented with the voice of his own son Sumit Kumar, were Vishal Dadlani chips in with his English rap.
The music of ‘‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ promises to appeal to the young at heart who are always ready for a dash of nostalgia while boogie woogieing to the current in thing zing.
