G V Films Marathi mad caper “Kay Karu Na Kasa Karu” launched with a 10 day shooting schedule in Mumbai

In yet another testament of the growing popularity & reach of Marathi cinema, G.V. films a reputed banner in south launched its Marathi mad caper ‘Kay Karu Na Kasa Karu’ with a 10 day schedule at Madh Island in Mumbai.
This out & out comedy features known faces in Marathi cinema like Bharat Jadhav, Pushkar Shotri, Deepali Sayyed, Aditi Sarangdhar with Vijay Chavan, & Uma Sardeshmukh. Ashok Shinde will do a guest role.
G.V. Films is a reputed banner down south under which Mani Ratnam has helmed his memorable films like films like Anjali & Thalapathi.
‘Kay Karu Na Kasa Karu’ will be the launching pad for Marathi actress Hemangi Rao who turns producer with this film.
On asked how did she stopped the actor in her for enacting the character of her choice given the amount of disposal available within her reach being a producer, the beautiful producer replied with a smile, “ Yeah it is tempting for an actress , but being a producer & also its being my first film I wanted to learn & understand the details of production”.
The film is being written & directed by Vinay Laad who the hindi film industry recognize as a producer (Balidaan) & actor (recently seen in jail).
On asked what makes ‘Kay Karu Na Kasa Karu’ different from the routine traffic of mad capers, the writer director said, “ it’s a comedy but comes with a message, its about common man dreams & reality treated according to the taste of the masses with an underlining message for everybody” .
The music of the film is done by Nishikant Sadaphule.
After the air supply of ‘Shwaas’ which brought new air of life to Marathi cinema which came back in the reckoning & the recent achievement by Harishchandrachi Factory as India's official entry for the 82nd Academy Awards, Marathi cinema is here to stay long for the masses & the classes as well & that’s the reason why corporate giants like PPC (Mi Shivaji Raje Bhosale Boltoy – publicity design) & UTV (Harishchandrachi Factory) are giving their required support & gaining confidence of established banners down south like G.V. Films to be part of a Marathi project.
