The objective here is to ensure feedback on the film from different sets of viewers so that the right strategy is adopted for marketing, promotion & film release.

Ideally, this exercise is undertaken 4-6 weeks before planned date of release of any film.

Methodology
Test screenings are undertaken by inviting different sets of defined audiences. These audiences are defined in terms of different age-groups, sex, economic groups. Each audience is given 2 forms to fill-in, one prior to interval & one on completion of the film. Further it is ensured that each member of the audience gives their review report on the film about liking / disliking. Screenings are carried on for a week covering 20-28 shows & are shown to 10000 people of different categories. An analysis is gathered from the feedback of reports submitted by the viewers.
